Create-A-Caption: The French Connection

Five Oscars, including Best Picture, Director, and Actor, were awarded to The French Connection, William Friedkin‘s fast-moving cop drama based on Robin Moore’s book about a series of drug operations in the 1960s. Gene Hackman and Roy Scheider are New York detectives Jimmy “Popeye” Doyle and Buddy “Cloudy” Russo, who reluctantly work with federal agents to crack a multi-million dollar heroin ring.

The film is one of the 1970s best, and now it’s the focus of this week’s Create-A-Caption. We’ve taken an iconic moment from the film and added our own comedic comment. We ask you to come up with your own and put it in the comments below!
